Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year tech roadmaps for emerging domains (quantum, AI ethics, biotech convergence)
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in partnership with MIT, Stanford, and global innovation hubs
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 2026 commercialization potential
- Architect sustainable tech frameworks for climate-positive digital transformation
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and board members on tech adoption pathways
- Manage $5M+ innovation budgets for pilot programs and prototype development
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech planning with 5+ years in emerging technologies
- Proven track record launching products/services with exponential growth potential
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, or generative AI
- Published thought leadership in tech journals (Nature, IEEE, etc.)
- Experience with regulatory frameworks for next-gen technologies (FDA, FCC, etc.)
- MBA/MS in Technology Innovation or equivalent demonstrable expertise
- Portfolio demonstrating successful tech commercialization cycles
