Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year strategic technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and organizational goals
- Lead research initiatives in emerging fields (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, Web4.0)
- Partner with product teams to translate futuristic concepts into viable product roadmaps
- Establish ethical frameworks for AI development and deployment across global operations
- Represent the company at international tech summits and policy discussions
- Build and lead a high-impact innovation lab with $10M+ annual budget
- Monitor geopolitical tech policies and anticipate regulatory impacts on innovation
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic technology leadership with Fortune 500 or unicorn startups
- PhD in Computer Science, AI, or Futuristics, or equivalent demonstrable expertise
- Proven track record of launching category-defining tech products/services
- Deep expertise in quantum computing, blockchain, and neural network architectures
- Published thought leadership in top-tier tech journals (Nature, IEEE, etc.)
- Experience securing $50M+ in R&D funding from government/private sources
- Fluency in Mandarin, Arabic, or Spanish for global stakeholder engagement
