Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps for AI, quantum, and bio-adjacent sectors
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives with $50M+ innovation budgets
- Establish strategic partnerships with DARPA, NASA, and global research institutions
- Anticipate regulatory and ethical implications of emerging technologies
- Present future-vision frameworks to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Mentor PhD-level researchers in applied futurism methodologies
- Drive patent portfolios for breakthrough 2026-era technologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or Bioengineering
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years at executive level
- Published research in Nature/Science on emerging tech implications
- Proven track record of commercializing breakthrough innovations
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AGI, quantum cryptography, synthetic biology
- Security clearance eligibility (or equivalent background)
- Fluency in Mandarin, Japanese, or German for global collaboration
