Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating emerging technologies (quantum computing, AGI, neural interfaces)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Monitor ethical implications and regulatory frameworks for emerging technologies
- Drive innovation culture through internal hackathons and tech showcases
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging technologies
- Proven track record of launching tech products with $10M+ revenue impact
- Expertise in at least three of: quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence, or decentralized systems
- Experience advising C-suite on technology disruption and digital transformation
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with tech specialization
- Published thought leadership in technology journals or major industry conferences
- Fluency in technology forecasting methodologies (e.g., Delphi, scenario planning)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
