Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap, focusing on quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and futurists to prototype breakthrough solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and Fortune 100 R&D divisions
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with transformative potential
- Present strategic vision to C-suite and board members with data-driven impact projections
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused allocation methodologies
- Champion ethical tech frameworks and sustainable innovation practices
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership, with 5+ years in emerging tech
- Proven track record of launching category-defining products or services
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism (PhD/MSc preferred)
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AGI development, neurotech, or climate tech
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Fluency in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, scenario planning)
- Experience with global innovation ecosystems and cross-cultural collaboration
