Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology strategy aligned with market trends and company vision
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (quantum algorithms, neural interfaces, etc.)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Partner with C-suite to secure $50M+ annual R&D budget for strategic initiatives
- Present innovation roadmaps to investors and industry stakeholders at global forums
- Mentor junior researchers in ethical tech development and responsible innovation
- Drive patent strategy targeting 15+ core technology filings by 2026
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy with demonstrated success in emerging tech commercialization
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence, or sustainable tech
- Track record of launching products with $100M+ revenue impact
- Certified in Technology Foresight (TFIA) or similar future-planning methodology
- Experience securing federal grants and DARPA-level funding
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Fluency in Mandarin or Arabic for global stakeholder engagement
