Responsibilities
- Lead strategic technology roadmapping for 2026-2030 horizon, identifying disruptive innovations across AI, quantum, and biotech sectors
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis to anticipate technological shifts and market opportunities
- Develop and present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board stakeholders
- Manage cross-functional innovation labs coordinating engineers, designers, and domain experts
- Secure partnerships with academic institutions and industry leaders to accelerate R&D
- Translate complex technical concepts into actionable business strategies
- Drive adoption of emerging technologies through pilot programs and market testing
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years experience in technology strategy, R&D management, or innovation consulting
- Proven track record in developing technology roadmaps for 5+ year horizons
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Strong stakeholder management experience with executive presentation skills
- Published thought leadership in technology innovation or futurism
- Experience with agile development methodologies and rapid prototyping
