- Lead horizon scanning for emerging tech (quantum, neurotech, decentralized systems)
- Architect innovation pipelines with 3-5 year implementation horizons
- Partner with product teams to future-proof existing platforms
- Present strategic briefings to executive board and investor stakeholders
- Manage $2M+ annual innovation budget with ROI-driven allocation
- Represent company at global tech summits and future-focused conferences
Qualifications
- 8+ years in tech strategy with 3+ years in future-focused roles
- Expertise in emerging tech frameworks (Gartner Hype Cycle, Tech S-curves)
- Proven track record of launching 2020+ tech initiatives
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Innovation Management, or Futures Studies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, space tech)
- Experience managing cross-continental R&D teams
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (preferred)
- Portfolio of 2025+ tech strategy implementations
