Responsibilities
- Develop 2026 technology roadmaps for AI integration, quantum adoption, and green tech initiatives
- Analyze emerging tech trends (neuromorphic computing, biohybrid systems) to identify market opportunities
- Lead cross-functional R&D sprints with MIT-affiliated researchers and industry disruptors
- Secure strategic partnerships with NASA, IBM Quantum, and leading academic institutions
- Present innovation blueprints to C-suite executives and venture capital partners
- Oversee patent development for proprietary 2026-ready technologies
- Mentor a team of futurists and tech ethicists in ethical innovation frameworks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics; PhD preferred
- 7+ years in tech strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech consulting
- Proven track record in launching AI/quantum products with $50M+ revenue impact
- Expertise in technology forecasting and scenario planning methodologies
- Deep understanding of quantum computing, neural networks, and sustainable tech
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in IEEE or Nature Futures journal
- Experience securing federal grants (DARPA, NSF) for breakthrough innovations
