Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology strategy roadmap aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead R&D initiatives in emerging fields (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, biotech integration)
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and tech startups for innovation scouting
- Present strategic vision to C-suite and board of directors with data-driven recommendations
- Mentor innovation teams on future-proofing methodologies and ethical tech deployment
- Monitor global tech policy shifts and regulatory impacts on long-term planning
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ in future-tech leadership roles
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Proven track record of launching at least two industry-disrupting innovations
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, blockchain, etc.)
- Exceptional strategic thinking with ability to translate complex concepts into actionable plans
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Technology Foresight methodologies
- Experience securing $10M+ in innovation funding or venture capital
