Responsibilities
- Architect the 2026 technology vision aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Conduct horizon-scanning research on emerging technologies with 3-5 year adoption timelines
- Develop quantitative models for technology ROI and market disruption impact
- Lead stakeholder workshops to align leadership on future-state technology adoption
- Create implementation roadmaps for pilot programs in AI ethics and decentralized systems
- Present strategic recommendations to the board of directors quarterly
- Manage $2M annual innovation budget for emerging technology experiments
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with Fortune 500 experience
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains: AI, quantum computing, or blockchain
- Proven track record of launching technology roadmaps with measurable business impact
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Strategy
- Deep understanding of Silicon Valley innovation ecosystems and venture capital trends
- Certification in Technology Strategy or Innovation Management preferred
- Exceptional analytical skills with proficiency in scenario planning tools
