Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive 2026 technology strategy aligned with market trends and organizational goals
- Lead cross-functional initiatives in emerging tech domains (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech integration)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year market impact
- Establish strategic partnerships with research institutions and industry pioneers
- Present technology roadmaps to stakeholders and secure executive buy-in
- Mentor innovation teams on future-proofing methodologies
- Monitor geopolitical/regulatory shifts affecting tech deployment timelines
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proven track record in commercializing futuristic technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI governance, climate tech
- Executive-level presentation skills with ability to simplify complex concepts
- Published thought leadership in technology journals (IEEE, Nature, etc.)
- Experience managing multi-million dollar innovation budgets
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight preferred
