Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps for emerging domains (quantum computing, biotech AI, neural interfaces)
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen systems with $10M+ R&D budgets
- Identify and evaluate disruptive technologies through patent analysis and academic partnerships
- Present strategic frameworks to C-suite executives and venture capital partners
- Drive innovation sprints with MIT and Stanford research labs
- Author white papers on industry-defining paradigms
- Mentor junior strategists in emerging technology assessment methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy with 5+ years in emerging technologies
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science/Physics with publications in Nature/Science
- Proven track record of commercializing breakthrough tech (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum algorithms, neuromorphic computing, synthetic biology
- Experience with patent strategy and intellectual property monetization
- Executive presence with experience presenting to Fortune 500 boards
- Certifications in technology forecasting (e.g., Foresight Professional)
