This role demands both technical acumen and business foresight to transform emerging concepts into scalable solutions that will define 2026's digital frontier.
Responsibilities
- Architect 2026 technology roadmaps for quantum computing, neural interfaces, and climate-tech solutions
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with AI, blockchain, and biotech teams
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies with 3-5 year adoption trajectories
- Develop ethical frameworks for next-gen AI systems and autonomous technologies
- Present strategic technology briefings to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage $2M+ innovation budgets for prototype development and pilot programs
- Collaborate with MIT Media Lab and Singularity University on future tech research
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech product management
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains: quantum computing, AGI, climate-tech, or neurotech
- Proven track record of launching scalable technology innovations with global impact
- PhD or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or Future Studies preferred
- Published thought leadership in IEEE Nature or similar tech foresight publications
- Experience securing $5M+ in R&D funding from government/private sources
- Fluency in scenario planning frameworks and technology adoption lifecycle models
