Responsibilities
- Develop the 2026 Strategic Roadmap: Create a comprehensive, data-driven technology roadmap that aligns with business goals and anticipates market changes three years out.
- Trend Analysis & Forecasting: Monitor global technology trends (AI, Quantum Computing, AR/VR, Biotech) and assess their potential impact on our industry.
- Technology Assessment: Evaluate emerging technologies for feasibility, scalability, and ROI to inform investment decisions.
- Stakeholder Management: Communicate complex future scenarios to diverse audiences, including executives, engineers, and investors.
- Innovation Labs: Lead pilot programs and proof-of-concepts for technologies expected to mature by 2026.
- Risk Management: Identify potential technological risks and develop mitigation strategies for long-term projects.
- Competitive Intelligence: Benchmark competitor strategies and future tech capabilities.
Qualifications
- Education: Masterβs degree in Business Administration (MBA), Technology Management, or a related field. A PhD is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 10+ years of experience in strategic planning, technology consulting, or R&D leadership.
- Strategic Vision: Demonstrated ability to look beyond current capabilities and identify long-term industry shifts.
- Data Fluency: Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize large datasets into actionable strategic insights.
