Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap, aligning with corporate vision and market trends
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, sustainable systems)
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify breakthrough opportunities and disruptive threats
- Present strategic tech insights to executive stakeholders and board members
- Manage innovation portfolio allocation and track ROI for futuristic initiatives
- Foster strategic partnerships with research institutions and technology pioneers
- Mentor cross-functional teams on future-tech adoption and implementation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership, with 5+ years in emerging tech
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products or services
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (AI/ML, quantum computing, advanced robotics, or sustainable tech)
- Certification in Futures Thinking, Technology Foresight, or equivalent strategic planning
- Executive presence with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Experience with scenario planning and long-term trend analysis
- Master's degree in relevant field (preferred) or equivalent experience
