Responsibilities
- Architect strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (AI, quantum, AR/VR, synthetic biology) aligned with 2026 market projections
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate disruptive solutions
- Analyze global tech trends to identify billion-dollar opportunities and competitive threats
- Develop patent-worthy intellectual property portfolios covering next-gen innovations
- Present visionary concepts to C-suite executives and venture capital partners
- Establish ethical frameworks for responsible AI and autonomous system deployment
- Mentor a team of futurists and technical architects to accelerate innovation velocity
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or equivalent innovation roles
- Proven track record of launching category-defining products post-2020
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, synthetic biology)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Physics (PhD preferred)
- Experience securing $50M+ in R&D funding from public/private sources
- Deep understanding of regulatory landscapes for autonomous systems and AI
