Responsibilities
- Develop 5-10 year technology roadmaps for emerging domains (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AI governance)
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions with real-world impact
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies before market adoption
- Translate complex technical concepts into actionable business strategies
- Drive ethical frameworks for emerging technologies implementation
- Present innovation blueprints to C-suite stakeholders and investors
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology architecture or innovation leadership roles
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Proven track record of launching market-defining technology products
- Certifications in futures thinking or technology foresight (e.g., CFTe)
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario planning capabilities
- Portfolio demonstrating scalable technology implementations
- Experience with agile development in R&D environments
