Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology vision roadmap, aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead research initiatives in emerging fields (AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech integration)
- Manage a $5M+ innovation portfolio and oversee startup incubation programs
- Present strategic briefings to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build and lead a cross-disciplinary team of futurists, engineers, and domain experts
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and global tech leaders
- Drive patent development and intellectual property strategy
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership, with 5+ years in emerging technologies
- Proven track record launching commercialized innovations from concept to market
- Expertise in at least two future-tech domains (AI, quantum, AR/VR, or sustainable tech)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience managing $1M+ budgets and cross-continental teams
- Published thought leadership in technology journals or industry conferences
- Strong proficiency in scenario planning and technology impact assessment
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts for executive audiences
