Responsibilities
- Architect long-term technology strategy aligned with 2026 market forecasts
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum, biotech, AR/VR) for competitive advantage
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype future-facing solutions
- Develop innovation frameworks for rapid tech adoption
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership
- Manage partnerships with academic and industry research consortia
- Monitor geopolitical/regulatory impacts on future tech deployment
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in emerging technology commercialization
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management (e.g., CFTE)
- Experience with scenario planning and trend analysis frameworks
- Strong presentation skills for executive audiences
- PhD or Master's in Computer Science/Engineering or related field
