Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 3-year technology strategy aligned with 2026 market projections and company vision
- Identify, evaluate, and integrate emerging technologies (quantum, AI, AR/VR, biotech) into product roadmaps
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers to co-develop breakthrough technologies
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to executive stakeholders and investors
- Build and mentor a high-performance innovation lab focused on next-generation R&D
- Monitor global tech trends and competitive landscapes to maintain first-mover advantage
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology roles with proven experience in emerging tech adoption
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Deep expertise in AI/ML, quantum computing, or AR/VR implementation
- Track record of launching at least two commercially successful tech innovations
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to translate complex data into actionable strategies
- Credibility with C-suite executives and experience influencing technology investment decisions
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystem and research institutions
- Published thought leadership in technology futurism or innovation strategy
