Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology strategy aligned with market trends and organizational goals
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and scaling emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech)
- Identify and secure strategic partnerships with academic institutions and industry pioneers
- Present technology roadmaps and investment proposals to stakeholders and investors
- Monitor global tech disruptions and competitive landscapes to maintain innovation leadership
- Mentor junior strategists and foster a culture of continuous learning
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PhD preferred
- 8+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or innovation consulting
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies (quantum/AI experience essential)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to translate complex technical concepts into business strategy
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystem and global research communities
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFSD) or technology management
- Experience securing $5M+ innovation budgets and managing P&L for tech ventures
