Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (quantum, AR/VR, neuromorphic computing)
- Analyze emerging tech patents and academic breakthroughs for competitive advantage
- Design ethical frameworks for AI/automation deployment in regulated industries
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and venture partners
- Manage $2M+ R&D budget for experimental technology initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy with 5+ in emerging technologies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Proven track record launching disruptive tech products post-2020
- Expertise in at least 3 emerging domains: quantum, bioinformatics, or decentralized systems
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management
- Published research in IEEE or Nature Technology journals
- Experience scaling teams from prototype to enterprise deployment
