Responsibilities
- Architect multi-year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 industry projections and market demands
- Identify, evaluate, and prioritize emerging technologies (AI, quantum, AR/VR, biotech) for commercial adoption
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Develop strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and tech pioneers
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders
- Establish KPIs for emerging tech investments and measure ROI against innovation objectives
- Author thought leadership content on technological disruption and future trends
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D management, or emerging tech innovation
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (AI, quantum, or biotech preferred)
- Expertise in horizon scanning, technology forecasting, and trend analysis
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD or MBA a plus)
- Deep understanding of ethical implications and societal impact of emerging technologies
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Experience building innovation ecosystems and fostering cross-industry collaboration
