Responsibilities
- Architect 5-10 year technology roadmaps for emerging domains including generative AI, quantum-resistant cryptography, and neural interfaces
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify breakthrough technologies with commercial potential in 2026+ markets
- Lead cross-functional sprints to prototype and validate futuristic solutions with pilot partners
- Develop strategic frameworks for ethical AI deployment and responsible innovation governance
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Build partnerships with research institutions and industry consortia shaping 2026 technology standards
- Author thought leadership papers on the societal impact of near-future technological shifts
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech consulting
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neuromorphic systems, or decentralized AI networks
- Proven track record of developing technology roadmaps with 5+ year horizons
- Strong background in ethical AI frameworks and responsible innovation principles
- Experience with scenario planning methodologies for technological disruption
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Futures Studies, or related field
- Published thought leadership on emerging technologies (patents, white papers, or conference talks)
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable business strategies
