Responsibilities
- Develop 3-year technology roadmaps aligning with market projections through 2026
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (quantum algorithms, generative AI frameworks)
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies (neuromorphic computing, synthetic biology)
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and board members quarterly
- Manage $2M innovation budget for experimental projects
- Collaborate with MIT Media Lab and Stanford AI Lab on joint research initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- PhD or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Published research in IEEE/ACM journals on emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least three of: quantum computing, AI ethics, climate tech, biotechnology
- Proven track record of launching commercialized innovations
- Security clearance (Top Secret preferred) for government partnerships
