Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify breakthrough technologies with 2026+ market potential
- Develop integrated technology roadmaps aligning R&D investments with business objectives
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to translate emerging tech concepts into actionable strategies
- Build and maintain relationships with leading research institutions, startups, and venture capital partners
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders
- Monitor global policy and ethical implications of emerging technologies
- Drive thought leadership through white papers, conference presentations, and industry reports
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Engineering, or Business Innovation; PhD preferred
- 10+ years experience in technology forecasting or emerging tech strategy roles
- Proven track record of successfully integrating disruptive technologies into commercial products
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, advanced materials, or synthetic biology
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
