Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence) for commercial viability
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives
- Lead cross-functional innovation workshops to ideate future product ecosystems
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to C-suite executives
- Monitor regulatory landscapes and ethical implications of emerging tech
- Manage innovation budget allocation for pilot programs
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, blockchain, quantum computing, or neurotech
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision making
- Exceptional communication and executive presentation abilities
- Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business; PhD preferred
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting models
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation (patents, whitepapers)
