Responsibilities
- Develop 5-10 year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype next-gen solutions
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum, AI, bio-convergence) for commercial viability
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to integrate future tech into corporate strategy
- Present disruptive innovation frameworks to investors and industry partners
- Manage a $5M+ R&D budget for experimental technology projects
- Mentor junior researchers and foster an innovation culture
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with Fortune 500 or scale-up experience
- Proven track record launching products using emerging technologies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, generative AI, neuromorphic systems
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing R&D budgets >$3M
- Certified Innovation Professional (CIP) or equivalent preferred
