Responsibilities
- Scan horizon for emerging technologies with 5-10 year market impact potential
- Develop strategic roadmaps for integrating next-gen innovations into core business operations
- Lead cross-functional task forces to prototype and validate disruptive solutions
- Present technology forecasts and investment recommendations to C-suite executives
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and startups for R&D collaboration
- Anticipate ethical, regulatory, and societal implications of emerging technologies
- Mentor teams in future-proofing methodologies and adaptive innovation frameworks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or emerging tech roles
- Proven track record in launching at least 3 disruptive innovations
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neurotech
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to model complex technological ecosystems
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Strong stakeholder management and executive communication abilities
- Published thought leadership in emerging technologies (preferred)
