Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) for strategic viability and market impact
- Develop comprehensive 2026+ technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market trends
- Lead cross-functional innovation workshops to identify disruptive opportunities and competitive threats
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board stakeholders
- Monitor global tech policy/regulatory shifts and advise on compliance implications
- Build and maintain partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry consortia
- Establish KPIs for innovation initiatives and track ROI of technology investments
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation management at Fortune 500 scale
- Proven experience developing multi-year tech roadmaps for disruptive industries
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI, blockchain, AR/VR, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and business data
- Strong executive communication and presentation skills with C-suite experience
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation or strategy (articles, patents, etc.)
- Experience working in agile, fast-paced environments with ambiguous requirements
