Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive technology forecasting and scenario planning for 2026+ horizons
- Develop strategic roadmaps for emerging tech adoption across 15+ business units
- Analyze global patent trends, academic research, and venture capital investments
- Partner with C-suite executives to align tech initiatives with corporate vision
- Present findings to investors, board members, and industry thought leaders
- Manage a $5M innovation fund for experimental technology pilots
- Build and lead a cross-functional team of futurists and domain experts
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Engineering, or MBA with tech focus
- 8+ years in strategic planning or emerging tech roles at Fortune 500 firms
- Proven track record in commercializing breakthrough technologies
- Expertise in at least two future-tech domains (AI, quantum, AR/VR, etc.)
- Exceptional data modeling and scenario-planning capabilities
- Experience presenting to C-suite and board-level stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in technology or business journals
