Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) with potential to transform industry verticals by 2026
- Develop comprehensive 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market trends
- Lead cross-functional teams in executing innovation pilots and scaling successful initiatives
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify disruptive opportunities
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders with data-backed insights
- Foster partnerships with tech startups, research institutions, and industry consortia
- Drive digital transformation across legacy systems and new product development
- Mentor junior team members and cultivate a culture of continuous innovation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred
- 8+ years of experience in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of implementing emerging technologies in enterprise environments
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (AI/ML, blockchain, IoT, AR/VR, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing innovation budgets $1M+
- Strong presentation skills with ability to articulate technical concepts to C-suite audiences
- Published thought leadership or patents in emerging technology fields
