Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech integration)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, product, and finance teams
- Present strategic recommendations to the board of directors with data-driven impact analyses
- Establish KPI frameworks to measure technology adoption ROI and competitive positioning
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Author thought leadership publications on future technology trends
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech forecasting
- Proven track record of launching at least 3 enterprise-scale digital transformation initiatives
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neurotech, or sustainable AI systems
- Certification in Futures Studies or equivalent foresight methodology (e.g., CFS, Foresight Practitioner)
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis, Cross-Impact Matrix)
- Strong quantitative modeling skills with proficiency in Python/R for trend analysis
- Executive presence with experience presenting to Fortune 500 leadership teams
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Strategic Innovation required
