Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and technology forecasting to identify disruptive innovations for 2026 market adoption
- Architect strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence)
- Partner with R&D to accelerate prototyping and pilot programs of future-focused solutions
- Conduct competitive landscape analysis and market sizing for next-gen technology domains
- Develop go-to-market strategies for emerging tech products with 18-24 month horizons
- Present technology visions to executive stakeholders and investor communities
- Build and lead a cross-functional innovation task force
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech consulting
- Proven track record in commercializing futuristic technologies (quantum, AI, biotech)
- Expertise in technology forecasting methodologies (Delphi, scenario planning)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Deep understanding of emerging tech landscape: quantum, AI ethics, neurotech, climate tech
- Exceptional stakeholder management with C-suite experience
- Published thought leadership in technology innovation (patents, journals, keynotes)
- Experience scaling tech teams in high-growth environments
