Responsibilities
- Lead development of the 2026 technology innovation roadmap, identifying disruptive trends and emerging opportunities
- Architect strategic partnerships with AI/quantum computing/metaverse pioneers to accelerate R&D
- Direct cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions for enterprise clients
- Conduct horizon scanning and competitive analysis to maintain technological foresight
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders with data-driven insights
- Oversee implementation of pilot programs for breakthrough technologies in production environments
- Establish ethical frameworks and risk mitigation protocols for experimental technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech roles
- Proven track record of launching at least 2 enterprise-level future-tech initiatives
- Expertise in AI, quantum computing, or metaverse technologies with published thought leadership
- Experience leading cross-functional teams across R&D, product, and business units
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystem and academic research institutions
- Exceptional strategic communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating successful technology forecasting and implementation projects
