Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end development of 2026-focused technology roadmaps across AI, IoT, and renewable energy sectors
- Secure $5M+ in R&D funding by crafting compelling investment proposals and stakeholder presentations
- Direct agile teams of 15+ engineers and designers to prototype breakthrough solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with MIT, Stanford, and NASA for co-development initiatives
- Conduct horizon-scanning analysis to identify emerging threats and opportunities
- Present findings to C-suite executives and board members quarterly
- Drive innovation culture through hackathons and patent development (target: 5+ patents/year)
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech (quantum/AI/blockchain)
- Proven track record of commercializing futuristic products (min. $50M revenue impact)
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or equivalent with peer-reviewed publications
- Expertise in scenario planning and technology forecasting frameworks
- Strong network within DARPA, NSF, and global innovation ecosystems
- Experience scaling teams from 0 to 100+ in high-growth environments
- Certified in Agile/Scrum and technology valuation methodologies
