Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives to identify and evaluate emerging technologies with transformative potential (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections and business objectives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate future-tech innovations into product development cycles
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research to position InnovateX as an industry pioneer
- Present technology strategies and investment recommendations to executive stakeholders
- Build and maintain partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and research labs
- Mentor junior strategists and foster a culture of innovation across the organization
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation management with proven impact on future-tech initiatives
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies and their commercial applications (AI, IoT, blockchain, etc.)
- Exceptional strategic planning and analytical skills with data-driven decision-making abilities
- Experience presenting to C-suite executives and board members
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystem and research communities
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Track record of launching successful technology innovation programs
- Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to operate in ambiguous, fast-changing environments
