What you'll do:
You'll lead horizon scanning for breakthrough technologies, develop innovation roadmaps, and evaluate emerging trends across AI, quantum computing, biotech, and decentralized systems. Your strategic insights will drive R&D investments, shape product development pipelines, and inform long-term business strategy—all while fostering a culture of responsible innovation.
Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis for emerging technologies with 2026+ impact
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives
- Lead cross-functional innovation workshops and technology validation processes
- Assess market readiness and competitive implications of emerging tech
- Design and implement R&D investment strategies for breakthrough innovations
- Establish ethical governance frameworks for next-generation technologies
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and stakeholders
Qualifications
- 8+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in emerging technology assessment and roadmapping
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech, or Web3
- Experience with scenario planning and futures methodologies
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making capabilities
- Executive communication skills for complex technical concepts
- Master's degree in Technology Management, Engineering, or related field
- Certification in Innovation Management or Foresight (preferred)
