Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends and market disruptions to inform strategic direction
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps spanning 2024-2026+ horizons
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and finance teams to align innovation initiatives
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board members
- Identify and evaluate potential acquisition targets and partnership opportunities
- Manage technology forecasting scenarios and risk mitigation strategies
- Mentor junior strategists and foster cross-functional innovation culture
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record developing multi-year tech roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI/ML, quantum computing, advanced materials, neurotech)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Executive presence with successful stakeholder management experience
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (MBA preferred)
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation or future studies
