Responsibilities
- Research and forecast emerging technologies with 3-5 year relevance to global markets
- Develop strategic roadmaps integrating breakthrough innovations into product ecosystems
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future tech adoption
- Perform competitive analysis and patent landscape assessments in emerging fields
- Present technology scenarios to executive leadership for investment decisions
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Author thought leadership publications on future tech trends
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic tech planning or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in forecasting technology adoption cycles
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (e.g., quantum, AI, neurotech)
- Exceptional analytical skills with data-driven decision-making ability
- Experience presenting to C-suite executives and boards
- Strong network in Silicon Valley tech innovation ecosystem
