Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 3-5 year technology strategy aligning with 2026 market projections and regulatory landscapes
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions including quantum-encrypted systems and neural interfaces
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and tech startups for emerging technology R&D
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify breakthrough technologies with transformative potential
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board of directors with data-driven impact assessments
- Oversee technology ethics frameworks ensuring responsible innovation and regulatory compliance
- Drive adoption of sustainable computing practices across all product development cycles
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech roles (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Proven track record of launching products with $50M+ revenue impact
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, synthetic biology)
- Executive-level presentation skills with ability to simplify complex concepts
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management preferred
- Published research or patents in emerging technology fields
- Experience building diverse innovation teams across global markets
