Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and assess their commercial viability by 2026
- Develop strategic roadmaps for technology adoption aligned with business objectives
- Lead cross-functional workshops to ideate future product concepts and use cases
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify first-mover opportunities
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and stakeholders
- Manage innovation budgets and track ROI of technology initiatives
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions and tech pioneers
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation management
- Proven track record in anticipating tech disruptions (post-2025 focus preferred)
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (e.g., AI ethics, quantum applications)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Administration
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Innovation Management (e.g., CFTE)
- Exceptional analytical and quantitative modeling skills
- Experience presenting to executive boards and investors
- Portfolio of successfully implemented future-tech strategies
