Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and technology forecasting to identify emerging trends impacting 2026+ markets
- Develop strategic roadmaps for integrating disruptive technologies (quantum, AI, biotech) into enterprise solutions
- Partner with C-suite executives to align technology strategy with business objectives
- Build and manage a global network of innovation stakeholders (startups, academia, VCs)
- Author thought leadership publications and present at industry conferences
- Oversee pilot programs for emerging technologies with measurable ROI tracking
- Drive cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future solutions
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology roles with proven impact on future-focused initiatives
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, AI ethics, neurotech, etc.)
- Experience building technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies or scale-ups
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Exceptional analytical skills with data-driven decision-making framework
- Strong network within Silicon Valley innovation ecosystem
- Published thought leadership in technology foresight or innovation strategy
- Proficiency in futures research methodologies (scenario planning, Delphi, etc.)
