Responsibilities
- Lead research and analysis of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, Web3) with 3-5 year market impact potential
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 business objectives and industry disruption forecasts
- Partner with R&D to prototype and validate next-gen solutions in controlled innovation environments
- Present strategic technology insights to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Establish KPIs for tracking technology adoption readiness and ROI of futuristic initiatives
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions, startups, and innovation labs
- Anticipate regulatory and ethical implications of emerging technologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 8+ years in strategic technology planning
- Proven track record of successfully launching technology initiatives with 3+ year implementation horizons
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI, quantum, blockchain, AR/VR)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Experience developing technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies or scale-ups
- Certification in emerging technologies (e.g., AWS Machine Learning, Google Cloud Quantum AI) preferred
- Strong presentation skills with ability to articulate complex futuristic concepts to diverse audiences
