- Lead horizon scanning and technology forecasting to identify disruptive innovations for 2026 and beyond
- Develop strategic frameworks for integrating emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence) into core business operations
- Collaborate with R&D to prioritize future-focused R&D initiatives and allocate resources to high-impact opportunities
- Build compelling technology roadmaps that align with long-term business objectives and market evolution
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives and boards, translating complex technical concepts into business value
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and research labs to stay at innovation's cutting edge
- Monitor global tech policy and ethical implications to ensure responsible innovation practices
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or future-focused R&D leadership
- Proven track record of successfully implementing emerging technologies in enterprise environments
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging domains: quantum computing, advanced AI, or synthetic biology
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Experience developing multi-year technology roadmaps with measurable KPIs
- Strong executive communication skills with ability to influence C-level stakeholders
- Master's degree in Technology Management, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (PhD preferred)
