Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technology roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and product teams
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies with commercial potential
- Develop ROI models and risk mitigation frameworks for experimental tech deployments
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and industry conferences
- Mentor junior futurists and build internal technology scouting networks
- Author thought leadership pieces on the future of human-machine symbiosis
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ in emerging tech domains
- Proven track record of commercializing breakthrough innovations
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, neurotech, or synthetic biology
- Certified Futurist (CF) or equivalent foresight methodology training
- Experience scaling innovation programs across global enterprises
- Exceptional data storytelling and visualization capabilities
- Published author or speaker at premier tech conferences (TED, Web Summit, etc.)
- Master's degree in relevant field or equivalent demonstrable expertise
