Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 3-year technology roadmaps for emerging sectors (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating disruptive innovations
- Conduct market analysis and competitive intelligence to identify strategic opportunities
- Collaborate with R&D to translate theoretical concepts into scalable solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage $2M+ innovation budgets with ROI-focused allocation
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology roles with 5+ in emerging tech
- Proven track record launching at least 2 breakthrough innovations
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, advanced robotics
- Strong financial modeling skills for tech valuation and ROI analysis
- PhD or equivalent in relevant technical field preferred
- Exceptional communication skills for executive and technical audiences
- Experience with agile development and rapid prototyping methodologies
- Published thought leadership in technology innovation (patents, journals)
