Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging technologies (2026+ horizon) for strategic alignment with business objectives
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps with 3-5 year implementation plans
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities and mitigate risks
- Present findings and recommendations to executive stakeholders with compelling data narratives
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and innovation labs
- Monitor global tech trends and competitive landscapes through proprietary intelligence systems
- Define KPIs for technology adoption and measure ROI of innovation initiatives
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic technology planning or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AR/VR, biotech convergence, or decentralized systems
- Exceptional analytical and scenario-planning capabilities with data-driven decision making
- Strong executive communication skills with experience presenting to C-suite and boards
- Certification in technology foresight (e.g., Foresight Professional) or equivalent
- Portfolio demonstrating successful technology commercialization or innovation strategy
