- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align technical capabilities with market opportunities
- Build financial models for technology investments and ROI projections
- Represent company at global tech forums and patent strategy committees
- Mentor junior researchers on future technology commercialization frameworks
- Author quarterly white papers on industry transformation trends
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership at Fortune 500 companies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, generative AI, neurotech, or climate tech
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Experience with technology valuation methodologies and patent portfolios
- Strong network within Silicon Valley and global research institutions
